The house is on a residential street, just off Essex Road. It is a 600 meter walk (or bus ride) to Islington Green with its many restaurants, pubs and shops. Essex Road has all the necessary supermarkets and local shopping.
Where can I visit?
Take your pick! A 20 minute bus ride takes you to shopping on Oxford Street, to the British Museum or St. Paul's Cathedral. Hop on the tube to go to Buckingham Palace, Leicester Square or Covent Garden. All of London's major sights are within easy reach.
What about transport?
Two tube (subway) stations: Angel and Highbury & Islington - both are 800 meters away. Buses go all over central London - the bus stops are 250 meters away. Taxis can be hailed on Essex Road. There is 1 parking space next to the house. For longer journeys, Kings Cross & St. Pancras (EuroStar) mainline train station is a 10 minute bus/taxi ride away.
