Entertainment: Europe's biggest nightlife scene, enormous variety of restaurants and pubs. Livable: One third of London's area is green space and parks, lot's of activities for children.

Sightseeing: Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathdral, Parliament - all a short journey by tube. Theatres: Theatre/cinema district is at Leicester Square/Covent Garden. Shopping: Oxford street is London's biggest shopping area. Museums: Many world-class museums: British museum, Madame Tussaud's/Planetarium, Natural History/Science/Victoria & Albert museums, Kew Gardens.

Cultural: London film festival (Soho/West End), The Proms concerts at Albert Hall, Jazz on the Streets, Royal Academy Summer Show. Festivals: Notting Hill Carnival - Europe's largest street party, City of London festival. Sporting (summer): Wimbledon tennis, Test match cricket (at Lords), Henley rowing regatta, The Great River Race (dragonboats, etc.). Music: Many world-class concert venues: Albert Hall, Wembley Arena, Hammersmith, Earl's Court, O2 Arena.
